Christopher Scalese is a seasoned financial services executive with over 25 years of experience in the financial planning industry. Over the course of his career, Chris has established himself as a trusted advisor within the community and is widely regarded as one of the leading independent financial professionals in the area.

Scalese currently serves as the President of Fortune Financial Group, a financial services firm that he founded in 2000. Fortune Financial Group is exclusively dedicated to servicing and informing retirees. Chris Scalese and his team of dedicated professionals work closely with families and individuals to help build, protect, and preserve wealth for retirement so that they are unlikely to outlive their money. The independent financial services firm helps individuals create retirement strategies using a variety of investment and insurance products to custom suit their personal needs and objectives.

Chris was inspired to pursue a career in financial planning at an early age after witnessing the care, concern, and empathy that his family’s financial advisor had for them during the passing of his father. Chris has aimed to bring that same level of personal care and compassion to the Fortune Financial Group. Chris Scalese and his team truly care about each one of their clients on a personal level and strive to do whatever it takes to create a more secure financial future for them and their family.

Professional Endeavors
In addition to his work with Fortune Financial Group, Chris writes recurring columns for a variety of publications and is featured each weekend on a national radio talk show as Northeast Pennsylvania’s retirement planning professional. Chris is the author of two books, “Retirement is a Marathon, Not a Sprint” and “Dare to Succeed,” the latter of which was a collaboration with “Chicken Soup for the Soul” author, Jack Canfield. In addition, Chris regularly leads workshops and adult education courses on retirement planning.
Education
Chris Scalese is a graduate of Wilkes University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He later went on to earn his MBA in Finance from the university as well. Chris holds his life insurance and health insurance licenses in Pennsylvania and is a Registered Financial Consultant and Investment Advisor Representative.
Philanthropy
Chris and his wife, Mary Beth, reside in Dunmore with their four children. Outside of his professional endeavors, Chris is a dedicated philanthropist who cares deeply about giving back to his community. While he supports a wide range of causes and organizations, Chris is most passionate about the Women’s Resource Center, the Children’s Advocacy Center, DonorsChoose, and environmental issues.
